Abstract

This article evaluates the Theoretical Event of the 10th Biennial of Havana and shows its successes and contradictions. We took the thematic axis ‘Integration and resistance in the global era’, proposed by the organizers as central theme of the reflections, in order to dialogue with some of the presented works and to update complex concepts as: integration, resistance, artistic reception and public's formation. In the same way we discuss the complex problem of the cultural politics in the globalization era. This way we give continuity to the discussions of the event, with an enriched vision.
