Abstract

This article seeks to think about the space of the discussions on the history teaching today, with reference to Hannah Arendt's reflections on "the crisis in education". We understand that the problems involving the teaching of History in schools are due to social problems and need to be designed within a debate involving not only pedagogical issues. Front of the policies that the 20th century us relegated, the analysis of the conditions in which the teaching of history and reflective practice need to be prioritized when it aims to promote educational advancement and allow interaction between teaching and research.
