Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze the process of formation of the first cabarets of the old gate and the transformation in zone of low prostitution in Tianguá-Ceará. In that movement, elements are sought that come to propitiate images and characters' vestiges that permeated the universe of the plots uncoiled in the prostitution among the first years of the gate, in the decade of 1950, until the closing of the “zone”, in 2002.
