A ARTE DA BORBOLETA
DO CASULO AO VÔO
Keywords:
Reception theory, Post-drama, IdentityAbstract
This paper intends an approach to reception aesthetics, specially the concepts of poiesis, aesthesis and katharsis as they are handled by the founders of the movement, mainly by H. R. Jauss. The show Borboletas de sol de asas magoadas, created by Evelyn Ligocki, is taken for analysis. The play is about a male travesty and his everyday life, showing the fakes resources he/she uses to go out on the streets and the conflicts with teen gangs during the night. The analysis emphasizes the artistic modes, according the reception theory, the post-dramatic appeal of the performance and Michel Foucault`s considerations about parresia.
